National Doughnut Day
Aunt Carries Doughnut Recipe

Ingredients
2 Cups Mashed Potatoes
2 Cups Sugar
1 Cup Milk
1 Tablespoon butter
5 teaspoons baking powder
Flour, enough to roll
2 eggs
Crisco, for frying
Cooking Directions
Add all ingredients together. Add flour slowly to get a wet doughy consistency. Use Crisco To Fry. Fry until golden brown, about 2-min.) Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
**Chef's Tip: This batter makes up to 8 dozen doughnuts.
