1 cup all-purpose flour
2 large eggs
1 cup milk
1/2 cup water
2 tablespoons melted butter (plus extra for the pan)
1/4 teaspoon salt
For the Bavarian Cream Filling:
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup whole milk
1/4 cup sugar
2 large egg yolks
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Optional Toppings:
Fresh berries 🍓
Powdered sugar
Whipped cream
Drizzle of chocolate or caramel
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Crêpe Batter:
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour and salt.
In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs, milk, water, and melted butter.
Gradually pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, whisking until smooth. The batter should be thin and smooth.
Let the batter rest for 15-20 minutes.
2. Cook the Crêpes:
Heat a non-stick skillet or crêpe pan over medium heat. Lightly grease with butter.
