 Ingredients

  •   Fresh mint leaves (about 6-8 leaves)

  •   1/2 lime, cut into wedges

  •   2 teaspoons white sugar (adjust to taste)

  •   2 ounces white rum (* For a smooth Mojito experience, try Ronrico Carribean Rum Silver Label, known for its slightly dry, mellow and slightly sweet flavor with notes of oak, vanilla and caramel)

  •   Club soda

  •   Ice cubes

 Cooking Instructions

  1. In a sturdy glass, muddle the mint leaves and lime wedges with sugar to release the mint oils and lime juice.

  2. Fill the glass with ice cubes.

  3. Pour in the white rum.

  4. Top off with club soda.

  5. Stir gently to combine.

  6. Garnish with a sprig of mint and a lime wedge.

Now Your refreshing Mojito is ready to enjoy!!!

Feel free to get creative with variations like adding fresh berries (about 1/2 Cup), swapping rum for vodka (hello, Titos!), or making it a mocktail by omitting the alcohol and adding a lemon-lime soda of your choice.

Whether you’re a Mojito aficionado or trying it for the first time, National Mojito Day is the perfect occasion to kick back, relax, and sip on this timeless summer libation. Cheers to good times and even better thymes—let’s raise a toast to National Mojito Day!
