Orange Glazed Chicken Recipe
Ingredients
2 Large chicken breasts
1 Orange
1 6-8oz. jar of orange marmalade or jam
2 Tablesppoons Olive Oil
1Teaspoon of Brown Sugar
2 Teaspoon of Chicken Boullion
1/4 Teaspoon Seasoning
Cooking Directions
1. Preheat oven to 400F. Use a grater and grate the orange peel. It should yield a tablespoon of orange zest. Set the zest aside. Squeeze the orange and put juice in a cup. Set aside.
2. Clean and tenderize the chicken. Cut both chicken breasts in half. Brush with 1/2 teaspoon of Chicken Boullion. On the stovetop heat up a pan and sear the chicken on each side for 8-10 seconds. No more. Set aside.
3. In a small bowl mix the remaining Boullion and seasoning
5. In a large Ziploc bag combine Olive oil, Brown sugar, Boullion/Seasoning Mix, and 1/4 Teaspoon of orange zest. Add Chicken breasts to the bag, until pieces are thoroughly covered.
6. Place in a deep dish. Pour juice over the chicken. Put in oven. Bake for 25-35 minutes, being sure to brush the chicken with the marmalade/jam twice.
